Murray River Queen

Waikerie Club

The Waikerie Club offers fine dining in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere seven days a week. Described as one of the Riverland’s great clubs, the Waikerie Club offers Stone Grill dining, pokies, pool tables, keno and lotteries. The Club offers a range of dining specials including Stone Grill Specials each Wednesday and schnitzels starting at $10 every Thursday.

Caudo Vineyard

Be amongst the first to experience wine tasting on the Murray River at Caudo Vineyard’s cellar door. The cellar door is located metres from the Murray River and its rustic feel blends in perfectly to its surroundings. From its crafted hard wood floors to its recycled red gum pillars brightly lit, you feel like you are drinking wine with the local wildlife.  Caudo Vineyard also offers a variety of tasting platters, showcasing local produce.  When travelling from Waikerie, Cadell or Morgan by boat, this is the perfect destination to pull up and sample some of Caudo Vineyard’s local produce, even get a vineyard tour. Bookings are essential. Open 6 days, Tues-Sunday 11am to 5pm.

Burk Salter Boutique Winery/Salter's Station

Burk Salter Wines is a boutique winery and cellar door at Blanchetown, owned and managed by Greg and Jane Salter. Situated overlooking the vineyard, River Murray and towering cliffs the cellar door is one of Australia’s undiscovered secrets. Enjoy the friendly atmosphere as you relax and partake in some tastings. Greg and Jane offer exclusive tours of their family vineyard and surrounding wetlands on board their restored 1927 Chevrolet Truck. Accommodation is also available at the winery. Salter's Station is a unique self contained holiday home or bed and breakfast accommodation. It is ideal for that fun and relaxing getaway with family or friends.  Open Saturday and Sunday 11am-4.30pm. Public holidays 11am-4.30pm or by prior arrangement.

Newland Bakery and Pizza Bar

Located on the Sturt Highway, the Newland Bakery and Pizza Bar serves some of the best bakery food in Waikerie, along with a range of authentic Vietnamese and Asian meals. Open Monday to Wednesday from 6am until 6pm, and Thursday to Sunday from 6am until 9pm, with pizza on the menu from 4pm until 9pm Thursday to Sunday, you can be sure there’s plenty to eat all day, all week. The bakery offers freshly made cakes with all the bakery classics including pies, pasties and sausage rolls, and even Vietnamese and spring rolls.
